Результаты обучения
В результате изучения дисциплины магистрант должен
знать:
- сущность понятия «термин» и специфические характеристики профессионального тезауруса;
- особенности терминосистемы и подходы к ее анализу и разработке;
уметь:
- работать со словарями и глоссариями лингводидактических терминов и осуществлять поиск дефиниций терминов на различных языках;
- осуществлять кросс-культурный анализ структурных, системных и социокультурных аспектов лингводидактических англоязычных терминов;
- выступать с докладом на иностранном языке с использованием профессионального тезауруса;
- писать аннотацию на прочитанный текст и просмотренный видеоматериал с использованием адекватных лингводидактических терминов;
- применять лингводидактические термины для решения учебных и коммуникативных задач;
- разрабатывать и представлять в форме публичного выступления терминосистему по проблематике научно-педагогического исследования;
владеть:
- приемами овладения общенаучными и специальными терминами;
- способностью систематизировать термины в рамках лингводидактической терминосистемы;
- профессиональной лексикой в рамках заданной терминосистемы на рецептивном и репродуктивно-продуктивном уровнях;
- способностью анализировать и продуцировать научный текст.

Для изучения данной учебной дисциплины магистранты должны успешно освоить следующие учебные дисциплины: «Научный текст и академическое письмо», «Ресурсы личностного и профессионального роста», «Цифровые технологии в образовании и педагогическом исследовании».

Learning outcomes
As a result of studying the subject postgraduate students should know:
– the essence of the concept "term" and specific characteristics of professional thesaurus;
– peculiarities of the term system and approaches to its analysis and development;
be able to:
– work with dictionaries and glossaries of linguistic-and-didactic terms and search for definitions of terms in different languages;
– perform cross-cultural analyses of structural, systemic and socio-cultural aspects of linguistic-and-didactic English terms;
– give a presentation in a foreign language using a professional thesaurus;
– write an annotation on a read text and watched video material using adequate linguistic-and-didactic terms;
– apply linguistic-and-didactic terms to solve educational and communicative tasks;
– to develop and present in the form of a public speech a terminosystem on the problems of scientific and pedagogical research;
possess:
– methods of mastering general scientific and special terms;
– ability to systematise terms within the framework of linguistic-and-didactic terminosystem;
– professional vocabulary within the given terminosystem at receptive and reproductive levels;
– ability to analyse and produce a scientific text.
Prerequisites
Postgraduate students must have successfully mastered the following academic subjects of general higher education: "Professional Communication", "Language of Professional Communication", "Sociocultural Foundations of Speech Communication", as well as "Scientific Text and Academic Writing", "Resources for Personal and Professional Growth", "Digital Technologies in Education and Pedagogical Research", studied within the Master's programme to study this academic subject.
Brief content of the academic discipline
Term and its characterisation. Notions of "system" and "terminosystem". Thematic groups of English-language terms in the spheres of pedagogical science and education. Lexico-semantic relations of linguistic-and-didactic terms. Priority innovative directions of scientific research in modern linguodidactics. Problems of translation of linguistic-and-didactic terms and their overcoming. Standardisation of linguistic-and-didactic terminology. Formation of foreign language linguistic-and-didactic terminosystem for language education. The use of linguistic-and-didactic terms in pedagogical work. Specificity of qualification scientific work in Russian- and English-language scientific and pedagogical discourse. Key terms of scientific and pedagogical research in the context of the person-centred approach. Analysing the use of key and umbrella linguistic-and-didactic terms in scientific texts.
